DIRECTIONS:   The preserve is located at 3432 Jones Bridge Road.  There is no sign identifying this branch of Jones Bridge Road.

From Springwater: There are many options from Springwater including taking I 390N from Wayland to Mt Morris (see below).  The route with the fewest turns takes Rt 15 N out of Springwater for 1.5 miles.  Turn left onto Liberty Pole Rd (CR 38) and follow that road for 8.1 miles (it will change names and CR numbers two times) to NY-63.  Turn right and follow NY 63 for 8.3 miles (there is a right turn staying on NY 63 [Mt Morris-Geneseo Rd] after 6.4mi). The Preserve is on the left and the kiosk can be seen from the road.

From Mt. Morris exit of Rt 390:   North on Rt. 408, which becomes Rt. 63.   Stay on Rt. 63 for 2 miles.  The Preserve is on the left and the kiosk can be seen from the road.

From Geneseo:  Head south on Rt. 39/Rt. 20A.  At the traffic light where Routes 20A and 39 turn to the right, continue south on Rt. 63 for 1.2 mile.  The preserve is on the right and the kiosk can be seen from the road.

From Rochester: Head south on I 390 S to Exit 8.  Turn right onto US 20A for 4.9 miles.  Turn right onto Mt Morris Rd (20A and 39S). At the traffic light where Routes 20A and 39 turn to the right, continue south on Rt. 63 for 1.2 mile.   The preserve is on the right and the kiosk can be seen from the road.

From Honeoye:  Follow Rt 20A west to Geneseo. Turn right onto Mt Morris Rd (20A and 39S). At the traffic light where Routes 20A and 39 turn to the right, continue south on Rt. 63 for 1.2 mile.   The preserve is on the right and the kiosk can be seen from the road.

The Ontario Pathways trail heads east from Canandaigua.  These directions are to the parking area where the Pathway crosses CR 10 east of Canandaigua.

From Springwater Town Hall: Go north from the town hall, through the flashing light on route 15A for 10.8 miles.  Before Hemlock, turn right onto Rt 20A east toward Honeoye.   Continue on 20A to the T at Rt 64 North.  Turn left on Rt 64 for 6.9 miles, then right onto Rt 5 & 20 at the light.  After 4.2 miles, Rt 5 & 20 bears right, but we will continue straight on West Ave Extension into Canandaigua.  Continue across Main St onto Ontario St.  You will see the pathway crossing Ontario St twice before the traffic circle.  Turn right at the traffic circle on CR 10.  Parking is on the right 0.4 miles south on CR 10.

From Rochester: Take the Thruway East to Exit 44. Merge onto Rt 332 south toward Canandaigua for 8.9 miles.  There is a stop light where Rt 21 joins Rt 332 from the left. At the next light, turn left onto Ontario St (It is Ontraio St on the left, West Ave on the right side of Rt 332 (Main St).  Follow Ontario St  for 2.0 miles, then right onto CR 10.  Parking is on the right 0.4 miles south on CR 10.

Directions To Garlinghouse Rd and French Hill Rd intersection.

Warning: Garlinghouse Rd is seasonal at the north end and does not connect with Dutch Hollow Rd in Springwater in the winter.  Directions from Harriet Hollister should help hikers who like to drive back roads to avoid getting stuck in snow.

From Springwater: Head south on Rt 15 for 5 miles to Wayland. Turn left on Rt 21 East for 5.6 miles. Turn left on Co Rd 38 (Rowe Rd) and follow that road for 2.9 miles (the name of the road changes from Rowe Rd to Garlinghouse Rd to Garlinghouse-Atlanta Rd). Turn right at the stop sign onto French Hill Rd and park on the right side.

From Honeoye: take W Lake Rd (CR 36) south. About 4.3 miles south of the intersection with East Lake Rd, turn right onto French Hill Rd. After 1.9 miles French Hill Rd has a stop sign at Dug Rd. Turn right to stay on French Hill Rd. Park on the left side just before the first left (Garlinghouse/Atlanta Rd). (You can turn around at Garlinhouse/Atlanta Rd).

From Harriet Hollister Spencer Park: The following directions avoid the seasonal roads Warner, Liddiard, Coates and Richards which your GPS may recommend.  These roads are closed in the winter going over the top of the hill.  From Harriet Hollister, head south on Canadice Hill Rd which becomes Wetmore at the Springwater town line.  At the end of Wetmore, bear right onto CR 36 (Tabors Corners Rd).  Continue on Tabors Corners Rd for 5.4 miles.  Turn left on Rt 21N. In 1.5 miles, turn left on Co Rd 38 (Rowe Rd) and follow that road for 2.9 miles (the name of the road changes from Rowe Rd to Garlinghouse Rd to Garlinghouse-Atlanta Rd). Turn right at the stop sign onto French Hill Rd and park on the right side.

Directions to Schum Acres and the South end of Wolf Gull on Garlinghouse Rd.  Look for the Springwater Trails sign to coordinate parking.

From Springwater: go to Wayland and follow those directions.

From Wayland: take Rt 21N for 5.6 miles. Turn left on Co Rd 38  (Garlinghouse Rd AKA Rowe Rd). Wolf Gull is on the north (left) side about 1.1 miles from Rt 21.  (about 0.3 miles past Pardee Hollow Rd).

From Honeoye: take W Lake Rd south. Turn right onto French Hill Rd. At the tee (at Dug Rd) turn right to stay on French Hill Rd. Take the first left on Garlinghouse/Atlanta Rd. After 1.1 miles Wolf Gull is on the right (north) side.
