This week’s hike will be at Reservoir Creek Golf Course located in Naples NY. So, stick a golf ball in your coat pocket and walk the course with your fellow hikers. The full 18 holes is 5 miles long and will take around 2hrs 15 minutes for the climbers. Nine holes for the tourist will be about 2 miles. The Naturalist take a nice walk from holes 1- 5 along the Creek bed or longer if they wish. For those of you who pass between holes 8 and 9 you just might be able to see the foxes. You will certainly see their den.

If there is enough snow you might want to try your hand at snowshoeing or cross country skiing. More than likely you will want your poles and footwear with good traction if there is snow on the ground. The lay of the land is up and down but the inclines are short but the views are beautiful!

We will meet in the parking lot of Reservoir Creek Golf Course at 2:00pm.

After hike Social will be at Neapolitan Pizzeria 120 N Main street Naples.

 

From Honeoye: Follow W Hollow Rd (County Road 36) to Naples. Turn Right at the Middletown Tavern on to Rte. 21 South, Continue on Rte. 21 South for about half a mile.  Reservoir Creek is on your left.

 

From Rochester: Take NY 15 South.  Turn left onto Route 21 North in Wayland at the light. At the intersection of Rte. 21 and Rte. 371 in the Town of North Cohocton turn left staying on Rte. 21 North.  Reservoir Creek Golf Course is on your right about 4 .1 miles.

Take 390 South to the Wayland Exit.   Turn right on Rte. 21 North at the light in Wayland.  At the intersection of Rte. 21 and Rte. 371 in the Town of North Cohocton turn left staying on Rte. 21 North.  Reservoir Creek Golf Course is on your right about 4 .1 miles.

 

From Springwater and Wayland: Head out on Rte. 15 South to Wayland.   Turn left onto Route 21 South in Wayland at the light. At the intersection of Rte. 21 and 371 in the Town of North Cohocton turn left staying on Rte. 21.  Reservoir Creek Golf Course is on your right about 4 .1 miles.
