  1. I do hope you all are going to save May 7 from 1:30-3:30 PM to go to the Seniorama at York Central School, although I know there are a lot of wonderful other things to do that day, so if I don’t see you there, I won’t mind. There are several other seniors from other towns that I know from my Extension work – so can’t wait to visit with some I have not crossed paths with for a long time. For those who have not seen the Pennysaver page ad for the 36th Seniorama, I am representing Springwater in its 200th year! Thirty-six years ago, I worked with Kaaren Smith on the Seniorama when it started – she just retired from being Director of the Office for the Aging last year and Sue is the new Director, whom I met recently at the “Taste of Livingston County” dinner in Mount Morris. My grandson Teddy will be my escort – he is in for a surprise, as he has never been my escort. First time for everything – come to think of it, he was one of the ushers at his cousin’s wedding so I think it is not a first time for him, as he escorted a young lady at the wedding. Still it is an honor for the both of us.
